Description
This wagon was already converted to a V8 when I bought it. There were cold welds all over the place and it looked like a hardware store threw up in it. There were twist caps in all the wiring and burnt up mix-n-match wires. A roofing nail was holding the shifter linkage to the transmission, and a 7mm socket was used as a spacer for the clutch cable. The motor blew up after about a thousand miles because someone dropped a 3/8" hose clamp in the motor and it somehow got wrapped around the timing gear- breaking the double timing chain. It's currently got a new crate motor from ATK with a warmed up cam and vortec heads. I'm running an Edelbrock performer carb and intake. I've installed a Painless wiring kit and removed any mis-matched hardware I can find.

Vital Stats: 350 Vortec, 600 cfm Edelbrock, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Lakewood bellhousing, Saginaw 4-speed (stock?), Rear end may be stock too. I haven't opened it up yet, but the gears feel pretty tall.
