New motor in A 76 Monza oil pan clearanc

After dropping in the motor the clearance from
the bottom of the oilpan and the k-member is less
than 1/16 is this normal? Im useing the stock 305
oilpan on A 69 Z-28 302!Could the motor mounts be two
worn out?Thanks for any help!E-mail
