It looks like more and more people have abandoned this site for whatever reason ... personal responsibilities, priorities, peer pressure to join the Facebook crowd. Maybe they've given up on their h-bodies and moved on. This site abandonment has a domino effect. Questions that are posted go unanswered, causing those that have posted the questions, to go elsewhere for their answers. Once members leave, it's hard to get them back. Also, a topic can appear rather dead on a public forum, but actually goes viral on Facebook or Twitter. If a board is generally inactive, no one’s going to want to return to it to see what’s been going on.
I do agree times do change and that you have to adapt, but some things never change. Look at vinyl records. CDs, MP3s, and streaming have not been able to completely replace them (even though modern vinyl may be digitally mastered and not analog).
So, we old school diehards need to decide how to make this board exciting again, in order to fight the Facebook and Twitter invasion.

Reality is like a bar of soap. Sometimes it's hard to get a grip on it.
