A WHITE INTERIOR INTACT!!AND MORE !!!! :) 50 bucks!!!!!!!

Postby roadhawkc06 » Fri Jul 07, 2006 4:12 am

As we all know....if you have a white interior H body or any older GM of that generation , the plastic crumbles to the touch , becoming damaged and dry from the years of sun exposure.....

I was browsing the local classified, and found a monza town coupe for sale......for 50 bucks!!!!!!

I'm desperately looking for solid fenders and doors....plus whatever I could find for my Resto......so I called.....and sure enough....the price was right, it was minus the engine and trans.....but I thought I would check it out.

Sure enough and much to my suprise....it has the same colour scheme as my Roadhawk(the interior) The gray and white!! I checked the A pillar trim....and it was solid.....in solid shape!! the dash pad was mint, carpet mint, rear seats mint etc etc.....

I got the whole car for 50 bucks and walked away with the majority of the rare white interior, tailights , solid fenders, doors, complete new front brakes and hoses........I had a field day I tell ya!!

I just thought I would vent my happiness to you all ...as I still cant believe my luck........

Great to be on this site....I'm really loving the simplicity of it!

Roadhawk C06,

Email me about the Town Coupe you purchased. Monza75TC @ yahoo.com. I might need a couple of parts from it.

Dick you got mail buds....And Bryan(Roadhawk specialist)

Just to let you all know.....the car is still at the guys place....about an hour out of town...from me........all I'm doing is stripping what I need and a little more........so if you need something....let me know...because I'm gonna get what I want and then the guy will get rid of the car for me.....

I'm gonna take pics of it and will send it to you guys if you need parts

It has no engine, trans, rear end.

After I'm done taking what I need, I know it has good glass left....a factory trunk rack(nice shape) rims.....etc....

the front clip is off the car....but I kinda remember him telling me he has it...in excellent shape!!

He leaves at the end of the month.......so the car is good to sit there until then!!

Cheers
