Your ideas about North Korea?

Postby ColinOpseth » Fri Jul 07, 2006 8:00 pm

Oh boy...

There are new allegations that Korea shot a missile toward Hawaii? wtf man.. is Kim Jong Il insane?

This is not good. We should just flatten those bastards with a couple "surgical" nukes.

Korean Rocket Launch

Postby vega_man_larry » Fri Jul 07, 2006 8:23 pm

Who knows if Kim isn't being a stooge for the Russians or the Chinese to test our ABM system. So far he's mostly launched old Russian surplus scuds and his latest attempt at launching a rocket resulted in it tumbling in it's trajectory. Fortunately he's not able to get anything to work. The balance of world power is being messed up. It remains to be seen if he will continue on his bad boy ways. He wants recognition on the world stage. If he was a serious threat I'm sure things would happen. However we're already involved on the world stage so it will be up to Kim's neighbors to put pressure on him to start acting sensibly. He's a knucklehead dictator who is causing his people to suffer quite a bit. But what goes around comes around. Hopefully he'll get his soon.

I kinda hope the British step in and offer assistance by way of a little bit of precision-style house-cleaning.They have the ability to carry out the necessary surgical strike, but wouldn't be accused of over-reacting if the Chineese and the Russians start grumbling. (Everyone hates the super-power, right?) And even though they're in as much danger as you are (weapons range) they'll drag their feet when it comes to a crisis and you won't be able to count on them to take Kim Jong out.

Kind of sounds like the UN, does it?

The UN? The UN simply doesn't work until its way too late.

There are only 2 countries in the world with the balls to take him out - us and Israel. Since he is not threatening Israel that leaves them out.

The Jappanese could act - but I doubt it.

Unfortunately we need to stay out of it. Everybody hates us already.

This wacko just wants attention, respect, and financial aid.

Well, Japan is justifiably nervous and proposed sanctions on N.Korea to the 'UN Security Council' (an oxymoron?). The US is for it. But can you believe that France is for it, too! That's right, the country with the WHITE flag is taking a stand on something.

Maybe, the UN should send a French diplomatic team over there waving their white flags as a diversionary tactic. Then the US could 'ship' a few ICBM's over there. Eliminate two pests at the same time.

Or should the US 'diplomatic' effort be before or after the starving PITA workers are still there (did I get that right, Wayne?) :-)

If it's PETA workers OR the N. Korean's starving...We will all be better off IMO.

To see how its the year 2006, and this is still able to happen freaks me right out, like the rest of the world feels..... :?

How could somebody like that be in power? How is that possible ?

I'm not a fan of war, I'm a generation X kid....we like our Ipods(I dont have one), we like our computers, and we have been tought that a simple conversation with a couple of beers solves alot !

In this case however........lets just bomb his mother*uckin ass.....get it done now....get it done quick, and without warning. A man like that is a terrorist, a threat to the world, and if Bush decided to go after Kim.......for the first time EVER , I would back him up! ( watch the FBI come after me for saying that eh? *note to FBI......THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!! RELAX!!)

Just my 2 cents.......

Heres a lil info for you that was overlooked in 2003. They shot dummy missles to alaska already in 2003 but there was no mention of it because the gov't still wanted people to believe that sadam/iraq was the real threat. Look it up.

Good News for us, We have deployed several sets of Patriot Interceptor missles to our bases in Japan... If he "Test-fires" them again, they'll learn how a scud feels....

Anyone ever watch "Team America"? Foul languaged puppet movie, but portrayed Kim Jong-Il perfectly.
