On the Nova spindles, can the steering arm be turned around? and are they the same width?( the wheel being pushed out further?) I still want to make the track width the same or narrow than the back wheels..

I didn't think to measure the difference in track width between the two spindles. It is quite possible that the Nova spindles have a bigger hub offset than the Vega spindles, though I doubt it would be a very big difference.
The steering arms are removable. When changing from rear steer (Nova) to front steer (Vega) the arms would be swapped to the opposite side.
I'm thinking that the ideal steering arm to use would be the short quick ratio arm used on the '68 to '69 F-bodies. They are hard to find, but ATS may soon be making a billet replacement for these arms.
The Nova spindles were used on '64 to '72 A-bodies, '67 to '69 F-bodies, and '68 to '74 X-bodies. This is why ATS named their spindle the AFX.

Any updates, any group buys planned? I'll be purchasing lower control arms, a panhard rod and a torque arm for the rear of my Monza this spring. I hope to get it all from one place.

Something else worth mentioning is that A-body steering arms will also fit the F-body spindles. This may be useful when trying to minimize bump steer as they will put the outer tie rod end in a different location (higher I think).

A rack conversion would be nice. I don't recall if that was part of any previous wish lists.

I bought a complete set of adjustable upper and lower rear control arms in red. They should be here any day. I'll take pictures for you guys.

If I remember correctly the rack conversion was not on the original list.
Though it is needed. I would prefer a power rack with around a 15:1 ratio. A Fox body rustang rack is close but would have to have short inner tie rods.
I need a "sport" rack since I quickly get board with the 1/4 mile at a time mullett races.

Any up date on the other pieces?

A K-member with provisions for mounting a R&P is in the list.

FYI,

I spoke with Spohn today, they are still waiting for someone in PA who can lend them a rolling H-body chassis to engineer the front control arms.

So if there is anyone near Spohn who can lend them a chassis for a little while, it will get the ball rolling on the front arms.

Thanks,

Tim

Probably not much H-body product development will happen now that spring is here and racing season has started...they'll be busy making products already in production.

I guess they would need a rolling chassis without a motor? Could it be a running, driving car?

I am the one he's waiting for. It should be very soon. Just have to button up a few things and get the car to Spohn.
