i'm very close to aquiring a 76' and will be using it as a test/mule vehicle to make torque arms/.

i already make adjustable front control arms.

and have a set of rear LCA's done.

i'm not looking to do late model stuff (like the new camaro) so i am trying to focus a product line on the H-body stuff. i am also a small one man shop so progress is a bit slower than i would like.

Keep up the good work and that is a good line up of parts. I have a salvage yard not 2 miles from my house that has 125 GM-H Body cars. Starfire's,Sunbird's,Astre's,Vega's,Skyhawk's to Monza's. I drool evertime I walk around the yard. If any parts are needed I may be able to pull some for you just contact me and I will see what I can do.

I would love to find a rear valance for a Sunbird hatch but doubt if any can be found in S.C. because of sun damage.

ok, i made it thru 12 pages before the headache got to me, so i dont know if anyone else suggested it, but if not--how about a complete set of 'swap' brackets...like, everything you need to weld on to your generic 8.75 mopar / 9 ford / 10 or 12 bolt gm / etc... rear axle ? like upper control arm mounts, lower control arm mounts, spring pads,etc....for the '4-link' factory setup ? that way we wont have to cut em off existing ones or beat trailer shackles between 2 rocks till they work...with the relocated pick up points, of course....i would definately buy a set like yesterday !

Nice to see Spohn got to the a-arms. Anyone know the price? Is that an s-10 spindle?

Actually, I stopped even looking at this thread, it was started in 2008. With so many products for new cars, it seemed an a-arm for h-bodies was never going to made by this company.

Was cool Justin at Overkill filled the void and provided an alternative source for a-arms. Justin's look like a really nice product.

Wonder if Spohn waited to long.

Spohn is making those control arms for use with S-10 spindles and ball joints. The arms shown are also made for use with QA1 coilovers for a Mustang. I understand that Steve Spohn also plans a set of arms to replace the stock ones and those will use the existing stock spindles for 4-lug. :th:

I don't post very often but I have been reading this on Spohn performance making parts for our H-body cars and I have one suggestion that no one has really come up with which is a problem that I have run into quite often, which is once I have put a V-8 in one of my cars I have to deal with the extra power eating my stock rear end so the only option you really have is narrowing a 9 inch or a 12 bolt and then if you are going to put it in a '75 or later then you have to 4 link it or go to ladder bars because you cannot use the stock lay out. you can weld your mounting tabs on the new rear but you still don't have a way to mount your torque arm to the hogs head what I'm trying to get at is I wished someone made a torque arm adapter that allows you to use a non torque arm rear end like a nine inch without modifying the car extensively maybe some kind of mount that would bolt onto the hogs head to substitute for the missing bolt holes in the hogs head for the arm. It is just a problem I have had quite a few times on a few cars that I didn't want to cut on or modify the body to the point that I couldn't go back to stock easily.
