Hey Guys count me in as I am sincerely interested in SFCs, a universal transmission crossmember and some adjustable rear control arms. These would be ideal for a recent purchase and other items would be purchased as the project life goes forward.

Would be interesting to hear from Steve Spohn how the sales of h-body products has been since he started making them. I'd guess with lack of any new offerings from Spohn he has not sold much and not worth additional product development.

I have not been to their site in a while...they sure have some really cool new products for a lot of cars, even the 2010 Camaro. They sure make a nice k-member with a-arms and a rack for f-body. Sure would be nice to be able to bolt something like that into a Vega...Oh well, just dreaming. :)

Still waiting for some lower and upper control arms, might just pick up some of the rear suspension pieces they have before they stop making them.

I have noticed that on ebay there is another company making the rear pieces, I believe from TX.

You never know with the way things are going and they seem to make some quality items and prefer to get those.

I've given up waiting for Spohn to make the lower control arms, I called again a week ago and was told they are still in the planning stage :bang: ..

I placed an order with AJE last week, they even have the front control arms listed with picture on the main page of their web site!

They are making me a set to use with my QA1 coil overs (which I have had for over a year and a half waiting for Spohn)

I'll post my installation impressions once they arrive.

Cheers,

Tim

Please keep me/us posted. Also might be interested in the QA1 set up.
Are you using S10 spindles?
I noticed on Spohn's site they have tie rod ends to go with the S10 spindles, with bump steer adjustment.

Tim

I hear ya. I've pretty well run out of patience myself.
Did you just order the lowers, or uppers too?
Did you order the bushings or the rod ends? Monza or S10 ball joints?

I'm running the twin piston S10 spindles currently.

I've ordered the upper and lower arms with rod ends and S10 ball joints with the lower arms modified for coil overs.

I'll post some pictures of thte install once I have the parts.

Cheers,

Tim

Hey Tim,
Will this change your track width with the new a-arms?

Excellent, Tim! I checked the AJE web site and they do have pics and prices posted of the Vega upper and lower A-Arms. They still don't have them listed in their Products page, yet.

Post your results with the AJE's in a separate thread.

I do hope Spohn follows through with their own A-Arms, soon.

Spohn has a complete line of rear control arms today.

I do not have the negative camber issues thanks to an adjustable K-member that I built to pull the lower control arms back into the correct position.

I ordered both the upper and lower arms with the adjustible rod ends so that I can shorten the upper arms back to stock length and keep everything correctly aligned.

I will be changing the caster for better high speed stability.. anyone have experience with what a good setting would be?

Thanks,

Tim

Hey gang, I wrote Steve last nite and got a reply today:

"We don't need anything, we have a jig car here. They're in R&D, I don't have any ETA at this time. Thanks!"

At least he was nice enough to write back.

I, also, wrote AJE Racing asking some questions and they have not answered.

I guess some of us may still continue to wait. Man, I wish they would hurry up.

Just wanted to give a quick update.

cheers jer
