We've come up with a brilliant idea to make the Spyder emblem insert happen with 3 d effect.. and its going to work fine.. (somebody also suggested just providing "3 D Glass's"with each emblem sold.. which had merrits till be showed them the door..

The way underway .. is really only possible due to the changes in tooling in & fiddling around.. its only since doing all the fiddling.. that this method will be possible.

I'm happy now... Its going to happen guys..

Here is a pic of the bowtie emblem compared with one on my Mirage. If the quality of the Spyder emblem is anything like this, it will be fantastic! :D

I went to storage today and dug out my box of NOS emblems. Where do you want me to send the emblem(s) to. I have lots of other emblems if you are interested in reproducing them. My digital camera crapped out so I took this picture with a webcam - the image quality sucks. The middle emblem is a perfect NOS spyder emblem,. The other emblems are available for your consideration as well - amber spyder steering emblem, monza steering emblem, spyder script for cars that did not get the stripe kit and medal 5.7 LITRE (1975 california only 350 c.i.) fender badges

I just took a look at the product on their website, wow, I did not know what they were giving us at the price offered. Looks like a hell of a bargain considering what your getting. I'm going to have to consider getting a couple of these (Monza and Skyhawk) even though I have no need for them at the moment with the 2 cars I have (Spyder and Road Hawk) just for keeps sake and the off chance down the road I may need them ... or want them. Can always turn them around and flip them in the future.

Hi. Guys.. Last week I flew across to Las Vegas to do a few things at the very crowded SEMA convention in LV. One was to specifically met up with a known craftsman who could.. without me giving up the loaned perfect NOS sample of the emblem insert.. examine the insert and hopefully come up with a quote to reproduce it PERFECTLY.
I do have various copies already but not in my opinion good enough to release.. hence the last try here.
One way or another.. and considering I'll expect to loose probably US$5000 on the effort.. but will loose now that amount regardless if I do not go through with it due to money already spent and licensing obligations.. I should have a final outcome this week.
As you know the Monza and Skyhawk have gone down well to the 17 people who have brought them.. hopefully at least triple that will support the spyder production. Updates forthcoming.

HI.. its been a while.. why.. ?? primarily trying to balance the books on what to produce that will pay for itself or help get a return.. V's .. stuff that is more heart felt .. like the Spyder emblem insert.
IN early november I found a source and costed through on the insert only.. costing will run around US$8000 alone for what will be 1000 emblems... I will deffinately loose thousands on this.. but having come this far will complete the job...just in my time. I've exhausted every other cheaper way, some were "OK" but not show quality. The Perfect insert sample is now going back be used as the templete.. I'll have updates as soon as available.
Overall .. with GM royalities, tooling, transport, etc.. we need to supply to you the Monza Spyder owners.. about 130 sets at $120 for a front assembly and one rear insert as a kit. Just like the Hawk and the Monza kits.
Not likely.. but thats life.. Hang in there.
