BEWARE of "Vegavairbob" on ebay!

Postby T-FATTY » Tue Jan 13, 2009 7:02 pm

Beware of Vegavairbob on ebay, he sells vega parts, photos and records. He had an auction for a 8x10 picture of a 1971 Vega GT at the NY auto show. I bid and won what i thought to be an original - $22.50. Nineteen days later it comes in the mail, just stuff in an envelope no cardboard to protect. You guessed it all folded/damaged. I ended up with a POOR pixelated copy. Now i collect pics of prototype, manufacture show cars, auto show pics like this one and some are originals and some are copies [good ones] some are a few bucks some are not . Then after i send him a email with my concerns which he never responded, he has the same pic up for auction again. I have no problem with him selling copies of his original, but state that in the auction then deliever a QUALITY copy which can be made anywhere for a few dollars. End of rant.
PS - if your a member here Vegavairbob, you should be ashamed of yourself.
YES I accept paypal donations...

Have you ever looked at the "GM Photo Store"? They have some Vega pics.

Vegaairbob is Robert Spinello from v8monza. Robert got me 2 1/2 years ago for $180.00 on a sale through that site. I have been looking for him since then when he apeared on ebay in December. I contacted him through ebay and he remembered me and said he was sorry and would send my money back via paypal by Dec 31st, That did not happened and now he will not answer my emails. Robert was a contributer to v8monza for H-Body information and was respected. Starting back 2 1/2 years ago he seems to gone to the DarkSide. I would recomend to stay away from Robert Spinello "VEGAAIRBOB".

Mark

for proof, copies of my emails are availible on request.
