Yep....windshield. I was thinking the same thing. Scratches could probably be polished out.

Considering the dearth of H-body parts left out there, I think I would have even saved stuff that was not quite up to par.

Good call on the body, though. Nothing worth saving there.

Ahh, I didn't at first but seeing your second batch of photos brought it home. That was the mint looking Spyder you showed us a couple months back, but then had those underside pics aftrerwards. We couldn't beileve how good the car looked, till the nasty underside shots. I can see why it is in car heaven now, what a shame, at least you recycled what you could.

I could have used the front sidemarkers and turn signal lenses!!!!! Did they crush it or put it in a yard?....and the gas cap. You only live a couple of miles from me!!! Damn!!!!

A couple of things I could have used was the front spoiler pieces. Its hard to see in the pics but they looked better then mine. Also the door skin with the Spyder decals would have been nice too. even if it was just one side.

I too sent one of my cars to the great salvage yard in the sky but it was basically a shell if that. The suspension was removed, no interior what so ever, doors, hatch, hood, and just about everything that would unbolt from it. Only thing left was the front suspension and the rear end which I have in my yard. I also think the quarter glass was there and thats it. Everything else was stripped for what could be stripped. It still brought 30 bucks across the scales which was about 28 bucks more then I thought I would get.

Oh well regardless its too late now since the car is gone. Guess its a case of the ole snooze ya loose deal. :(
