Automatic?

Auto trans? If its the TH350 the tail piece where the torque arm bolts up to is removable. The metric trans tail is not removable and the pan should have "Metric" across it. I know for 77 Skyhawks only very often got the TH350. Out of the 24k Skyhawks made for 77 only a little over 3k got the TH350. Brian

The reason I asked is that mine had something on it at one time. I just couldn't tell what it looked like. The 75 sales literature for the Skyhawk shows one thats red with 231-2 on it. I was just looking for other examples.

DL1 is a Regular Production Option code for the stripes and Hawks on my car. It was a cheap stripe package ($35.00) offered for 77 & 78. Maybe 76 also but I have read where 77 was the first year. I'm not sure information is very weak for these cars. Brian
