Car Craft mentioned it too in "This Guy's Garage" latest issue.

BTW, 5 years ago I was like most on this forum, just a guy building my own stuff in my home garage.

Jeff, you are definitely on the road to success with your business. You are obviously building some killer cars and getting the attention of everyone. I was lucky enough to meet Jeff and check out the wild "Temptress" Tempest at the Chicago Muscle Car National show, it's pretty awesome.

The latest pics are on my website http://www.schwartzperformance.com under "car projects".
This project is almost completed. We are fabbing the exhaust now.
Using a combination of 2.5 inch mandrel bends and 2.5 inch oval with a magnaflow transverse muffler with 2) 2.5 inlets and one 3" outlet coming out in the stock location. It should be drivable next week.
Popular Hot Rodding is shooting a feature story upon completion.
Thanks
Jeff

I went over to see Jeff and the Vega yesterday. It's looking great! The 5.3L LS engine with the Camaro pan clears the steering better than I would have thought. I didn't realize that BeCool made a Vega radiator, but it tucks in nicely. The Addco sway bars have arrived and are installed. The exhaust was being fabbed, and what great job on the trans crossmember fab. The intake elbow looks great, too, and puts the air filter over the area where the charcoal cannister used to be.

I'm anxious to see the finished product and see (and hear!) it go down the road!

Wow, can't believe I've missed this thread for this long

Great car!!!

Jeff, we met at an Indy Power Tour stop a few years ago, despite a growing crowd around your caddy you took a few minutes to show me the car and talk one on one. I walked away with the impression you're a genuinely good dude.

Best of luck with the vega, and all other endeavors.

We fired it up for the 1st time yesterday. I love when things just run like they're supposed to.
It should be wrapped up next week. The car will debut Memorial Day weekend at the Midwest Musclecar Challenge event, which starts at Putnam Park in Indiana and ends in Lawrenceville IL Sunday.
This car will be on 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour the 1st 2 stops only. And then pretty much every event on our website calendar.
Popular Hot Rodding is shooting it for a feature story soon.
I'm in Nashville now at the Goodguys Autocross with the Temtpress, we are 1st overall after day one, I hope we can keep those DSE Camaros at bay tomorrow.
Thanks
Jeff

Hey guys.

I thought I would bump this to the top with some "finished" shots and a little video to get you going. We had the RR give us issues as we left for Power Tour so we're changing wheel bearings, hence why the rear is apart. The car is otherwise finished though!

Yes you now have to deal with me here too, and 19 other forums LOL.

Unfortunately we were unable to take the Vega on Power Tour due to some rear end issues. :cuss: :censored:

Hypsy was very sad about this. *tears*
