YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be so cool.
I knew I get some heat from that comment. :D But, consider this:
We've talked about the similarities in looks between a Mustang II and a Monza two-light - both front and rear - in a least one other thread here on H-body.
NOTE: Look at monza75tc's car in his avatar and his son's Mustang II in grey primer in the post above. Striking similarities! Don't you think?
Thanks for sharing!

I think the Mustang II - especially the Fastback - is a really nice-looking car.
As I have said a few times here, my favorite Monza is the two-light. I like the 75-76 front-end and the wide-taillights of the 78-80 Hatchback( and Coupe?).
But, I think most here prefer the four-light Monza, so, I was just the 'mouthpiece' for the majority. OK. I won't do that again. :dunce:

I was just messing with people. I do like the 2-light front end better, 78-up (looks less like the mustang 2).

Oh come on, lets not kid ourselves, there is nothing nice looking about a mustang 2 or an H-body  The reason we like these kinds of cars is because we have a sickness  Just kidding.......kind of.....

So what is this 'two light' (i assume it refers to the head light or an extra driving light?) that you speak of? was this a special model they made for a short amount of time? fill me in

I have two 2 light Monzas, a hatch and a notch and I can say with all honesty I think they look a lot better than the 4 light models.
The exceptions are the Sunbird and Skyhawk they both look better than the Monza version IMHO.
Of course the reason I like the notch is because almost everyone here has a hatch and I don't want to be the same as the majority.

OK, I know you aren't serious, but try the 4.2l DOHC I-6 from a late-model Chevy (sorry, Chevrolet) Trailblazer or GMC Envoy.

Or go old school with a 250 cu. in I-6 from a 60's Biscayne - basically the same engine as the 77-78 Iron Duke with 2 more cylinders.

The plan is already rolled, the engine was purchased 6 months ago, the mods are in progress, and currently in execution phase....

Cool, what engine did you purchase? Please start a thread in the projects section, I am sure many of us will enjoy watching it come together. :th:

Hmmmmm........OK, an electronic 'pat on the back' for the person who figures out what engine it is. There is already enough information given to figure it out, winner must provide what tipped you off ;)

FYI,
Current state of the car : the car is back halfed with a ford 9/4 link, doors are gutted of crash beam, windows, and roller mechanisms, roll cage, now has a glass nose, and i am preparing to fab the front clip that i designed in CAD for the engine to work in the car. All of the tube a-arms and wilwood brakes are ready to go. Trans adapter made to adapt to the GM PG trans

Let me guess, a 250 ci. 1969 Pontiac OHC Sprint engine, with a 2004r trans. :)

or even a 4 speed. :o
