further fragmentation

Postby AusRs » Tue Jun 27, 2006 9:18 am

whilst this board is great and a leap forward into the current century it does further fragment the H body community
personally i feel that for this to work Bob must link to this forum from his main page .....if not one of the sites and therefore information will be lost

and there is way to much information from Bobs site that cannot afford to be lost

anyone else have thoughts on this ???

Definitely a good point, but no one can seem to get ahold of Bob. I suppose if everyone defects to this place, hopefully Bob will find us...and add a link.

You're right. It's in everyone's best interest.

There may be a fragmentation of the "community" just like when we left the Yahoo! Club. Some people never came along but the ezboard forum grew out of nothing. As long as this new forum is up I'll be member here. Yahoo! is out. EZBoard is out. So this is all there is for me.
At this point its impossible to tell what Bob will think of this but whatever his response will be its not likely to known to us for quite awhile. He seems to be a disinterested party. Yes, I know he's busy with his career in the US military and he has every excuse to be disinterested. But he's not the only guy with an h-body.
As for losing information, this forum is an attempt to put an end to that.

i gotta agree that ideally both forums should be connected. It is my hope that this board replaces ezboard (heretofore known as the old board :) ) on the V8Monza website. That website has a lot of useful items on it. There was a time when the concensus was that the V8Monza site was cool but the message board sucked.

So..... if we can get everything worked out and get this message board linked to the website that seemingly everyone knows ....well that would be SWEET.
