I have been working on the details, wiring, brackets, cable hookup etc. This stuff is taking forever. It seems like something is in the way of everything.
The tranny does fit into the tunnel OK, but the original crossmember mounts must be removed and new ones built. The torque converter housing fits easily, because this 700R4 is sized at the front to fit the 60 degree bolt pattern. Used a modified shifter and cable from a 91 Camaro.
I shortened the driveshaft and torque arm so they would fit.
Rims are 15x 7 off of an early 80s trans am. Tires are 225/50/15.
Still need fuel system, radiator hoses, Some wiring finished, power steering lines, trans to radiator lines, fill all the fluids, and a few other items. Getting closer.
