Cosworths will be gathering in a bank parking lot between 11 & 12 mile, expecting to have 5-6 cars.

Motor City Rockets will be gathered at and cruising in and out of the Charter One Bank just south of 18 Mile Road. Stop by and check out our Oldsmobiles. If it's nice I'll have my '68 Cutlass S Convertible, if the forcast is not so nice I'll have the Starfire. We do a fundraiser for the banks charity and they let us use their entire parking lot for the day. It's a win-win as we get a place to hang out at and they get people keeping the riff-raff off of their property :D

Addresses of your "Woodward Hangout" locations would be Excellent so I (and others) can do the MapQuest and Google Maps thing to land me in the right place first or second time  I am looking forward to this and fully expect to make it over there. I will probably be in the pick-up as the Monza isn't quite ready (Not Even Close) Thanx Harry

I'm heading out to throw the dink 9in flywheel clutch set up in the Sunbird and hope to get it to the DC. If not I'll be in my 66 GTO and have parking with the Widetrackers @ Huron ST and Woodward heading south in Pontiac (Oakland Press parking lot)

Just came back a few hours ago and it is hard to believe but it is/was BIGGER than my last trip over to this unbelievable event! There are cars everywhere all kinds of everything. I met up with Alan (Starfire) again and checked out his'68 Cutlass convertible I am Jealous for sure. then a while later I finally met Dick (Hammerdown7) and seen his wife's real clean and straight Corvair Monza, It is a "TRIP" at the least. This is beyond my skills to describe in short or even long it is a novel at least! I was hoping to meet up with Vega Craig and Justa6 but they eluded my wandering eagle eye. I did see 1 Vega and 1 Monza (out side of the CVOA display but couldn't stop and didn't find the owners in my "Drive by Interview" I wasn't in my truck as planned I went with my brother and his wife and a Sonoma isn't a 3 full-size person ride! Or I am sure I could have found at least Justa6. Harry

Harry, It was a pleasure meeting you in person, thanks for stopping by the Cosworth entourage. Unfortunately my rush to get my car together fell short and my wife's Corvair was my backup. VegaCraig spent a few hours with us earlier in the day before joining the cruise on the road.

Yes it was good to finally meet up Dick and you did bring a "Monza". The 'Vair was plenty nice and there were plenty of broken down hotrods, so I think you made a good choice! I was watching but there is a lot to see there to say the least. And then I was trying to take some pic's with my phone and then missed something else cool. Next year a real camera! I wanted to see Craig's Vega it looks so clean on the board here and it sure has a presence. Did 73Cos make it? I did see a silver Vega no hood BIG tires Dominator, etc. could have possibly been Cos's car? Unfortunately I really don't know/remember where I was. Harry
