where can you buy a 77 monza water pump

Hi all I am in need for a 77 Monza V8 water pump I went to a pronto store and they can;t get them I called Oriley's and they can get them but they need a core and woudl have to order them in one promblom is I don't have a core to give back so doe anybody know where else I can get one at

you can still buy one at o'rielys but you won't get the money you pay for the core charge back, consider that to be how much you paid for a broken used one to give them this ad says $3.00 core charge thats cheaper than you could get someone o send you one for a core http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detai ... water+pump

i'm just curious because i don't know. whats the difference between the monza pump and any other SBC water pump? i always though chevy had two pumps "long" and "short"

If you want to split hairs, there's 4 SBC pumps; early(short) late(long), 72-82 Corvette(short with extra heater hose nipple on the top)) and V8 Monza(short with threaded hole for P/S bracket on top). If you're in a pinch you can use any short pump but there can be pulley alignment and fan bolt pattern issues with the early short pump but the Vette one will work by eliminating the bracket. Another possibility is an aftermarket short pump; $60 in iron or $120 in aluminum from Summit.
Edit- There's more; late87&up with serpentine belt drive are reverse rotation.

i wondered about the corvette stuff always something goofy with them....lol
