Hi guys. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a stock new fuel tank oem or after market? Any help would be appreciated?

I dont think they are available new.
The only Vega's that only had a little rust were the ones still on the assembly line.

Do the Camaro retro-fit, you'll get more capacity too.

Searching the entire US all it comes up with is a 1975 Astre tank with 200,000plus miles on it. I am guessing what I have is in better shape than that one. Mine simply has a leaky seam but we do want to weld a sump on and I would rather start with a new dry tank.

Your chances of finding a new tank are slim to none. Nobody makes them and NOS ones have dried up as well. There are places that can custom make a tank to any size, that is probably your best bet. You could probably end them your old one or give them the dimensions and get one made.

These folks can either work with your old tank or make you a new one out of stainless:
