Parting out a cosworth

Postby DJLATIN » Sun Mar 30, 2014 10:38 am

How in the hell do you remove the hatch & doors? they have pins and i've tried to knock them out but they don't budge. so i cut the crap out of it to remove the doors but i don't want to tear up the roof to remove the hatch.

There are "ears" on the door pins that prevent them from backing out once installed. You need to either squeeze the ears before tapping out the pins (not easy to get to) or tap them out to break the ears off. The hatch pins use a similar design.
