This year doesn't have a flyer ( EDIT: Scroll Down) but it should be all the fun of previous years. Delishious burger's.. A fun friendly time. The most h body's in one place in probably forever.. Good talk, fun vibe.. you'll love it. And this year...International media coverage on ESPN!!!! Ok.. just kidding, but you really should consider making the trek.

So I put this announcement in General Discussion to for a little extra exposure, and to discuss some details of the event..

Border Crossing. Getting to the Monzaque will require entering Canada for you (us) U.S.'ers . Some states have enhanced licenses that will enable entry into the country in the typical way. If you planning to come from farther away, you should have a passport, or consider getting one. A birth certificate will no longer work.

Anything anyone can share feel free to add.

What to bring: Your H body if at all possible!!!!!!! A tent, if you'd like to camp out, decent sized lawn available for that. Or make reservations at one of the local hotel/motels.
Bring something to drink..and plenty of it. I bring some water. Maybe some iced tea or juice and will probably stop for something with alcohol once in the North country. Bring a chair. sunglasses, sunblock.. There's a nice shady tree to sit under. A dish to pass or some party favors wouldn't be turned down.

What to expect... anyone else?

Should we expect Marco? Harry is almost covered the details for the trek (no not even close but I will come anyway) Truck needs attention again, official paper work for work (have a Verbal OK), tow dolly will need mod's, Wife's jobs are cleared, Monza Wishful and the other cars keep getting better and mine is saying the same. Just no time (or money usually) to do much, and the list in front of the car is getting bigger not smaller. :bang: So we need at least 4 more people without their cars to take the heat off of me (and the other carless folks) in excess of the few who already help deflect the "Shame" Harry

Thanks Marco, I was just about to put up something in the GD section. You pretty much have it covered. The last few years have been scorchers and we do have a pool that a few have taken advantage of to cool off.

Here is the flyer that Dave just sent me. Outstanding job, as usual!

Harry, count me in as one of those guys who'll be there without his car to deflect the shame off of you.

Ken Thanx for the support! I'm pretty sure I'm going to need it. But don't you dare let up on that there Resto, as I will be working (if you can call it that) on mine, I just know how it works when it is for me, LAST on the list of important things! I would LOVE to see an Astro Roof in person, only pictures and drawings to date. "Your My Only Hope", any time soon anyway. Thanx Harry

I'm coming to the Q, probably without the monza. I seen one of those glass roofs 30 years ago, pretty neat if u have one that is still un-cracked!

I've owned 3 C06 cars over the years, and have seen 3 more besides mine. "Most" bubble up in the film that's part of the safety glass, so not only is it difficult to find a C06 roof, it's even rarer to find one that is not dried up or bubbled. I have an entire C06 roof cut off at the pillars in my garage to replace my cracked one (some day) and it took me 17 years to find it. (had to drive to the U.P. of Mich to get it). If it weren't so far, I'd tow my car up there just to let you look at it... and to actually "have" a car present!

How about Paul with the restored Red Spyder in Toronto...will be making it by this year? Anyone know if he knows about it? This year could be the "attack of the red spyders" edition if Ken's and Pauls could show up.

I haven't heard from Paul in a couple years now and he always knows about it.

Ken, Reid towed his Skyhawk up here a couple years ago, setting the precedent. LOL/

Sorry guys, my Spyder won't be up there this year... :( Too far to tow with gas prices the way they are, but still look forward to being there H-bodiless either way.

No worries Ken. Your forgiven.

We haven't seen Harry's yet and he has been to a few now but the record is held by Cliff. He was without Spyder for 8 MonzaQues till he brought it last summer for the very first time so you have a ways to go before you join that elite company of Harry and Cliff. :)

I guess I'll have to pull mine out as well, the model I used on top of my wedding cake. :)
