Bob, your post made me laugh!
I guess I am old also, and NOW I am feeling a heck of a lot older from reading the posts on this thread. But being you asked I would say "Crossroads" by Cream gets my rubber burning eveytime I hear it!

Remember when GM used Led Zep's "Rock and Roll" on Cadillac ads a few years ago? Now looking at it I guess I was the older market they were trying to appeal to, which they always tried to sell to that 50+ group. My son really did me in when he said "hey Dad why are they playing oldies to sell Caddy's?" I did see Led Zep play live three times and that was over 40 years ago, so I guess now I am "old" And I just bought a new CTS, so that confirms it

Ken,
I got one for you... Foreigner 'Rev On The Redline'!!! When that came out my oldest brother, the one who got me into cars, had just gotten his '68 Firebird repainted and running like a bat outta h@ll!!! So that song and that car were a HUGE part of my childhood. 'Two in a row/ everybody knows/ at the green light you rev it to the red line/ been waiting all week to get my wheels on the street/ she's wearing new colors and running pretty good/ I got 400 horses under the hood.'.
I could go on but you get the point... Just my all time favorite car song... Of course Meatloaf 'Bet outta hell' works also.

I knew I should have looked a little more... Found a YouTube video that fits pretty well, and has at least 2 h-bodies in it... Let me see if I can copy the link...

Hey I think that worked and I am on my cheap little $70 tablet!!! There is another real cool video done to the song that is done as a tribute to Chevelles that is worth looking at as well...

Great selections guys, here's a few of mine.

Firstly, I bought this EP, on vinyl, brand new in 1984: Herbie Hancock - Rockit

This would have to be played off course: Sammy Hagar - I Can't Drive 55
