I had been looking for a windshield to go in my 1980 sunbird and a friend found me one at a wrecking yard in a little town about 20 minutes from here, so i went out to pick it up... and ended up buying 2 monza spyders one of which has an active title and an apparently running smallblock the other has no motor or trans .... so my 150 dollar window came to $750 (canadian) but i got 2 good windows and a bunch of extra parts did i do alright?

I didn't have my camera when i went... and i dont have a trailer so I think i am gonna end up paying him the extra hundred to deliver them.. i will post some after i get them here

Finally got these cars home, my camera is broken so i gotta wait to post pics till my bro e mails me the ones he took........ got 1 car to start, and found some v8 5.7 litre badges on the fender of the car with no motor

Where in Southern Alberta are you and did you know about the Alberta Iron Indians Pontiac Club that originated in Calgary? I joined the Edmonton chapter a couple of years ago and would love to see another Sunbird in the Club!! We are nearly extinct and Albertans are freaked out at the site of my car at shows up here! You did well with the window purchase btw!!!

I am in Lethbridge, and the only car club we have here that i know about is the street wheelers and i never really have seen eye to eye with a bunch of them. My sunbird which i have had for like 20 yrs still isn't street legal , although i am hoping to get it in to see for one last time weather it will pass an out of province inspection within the next week or 2 thanks to the new windshield and seats i can use from one of the monza's.

Not sure that it is the best example of a pontiac, it is a notchback with a 350 chev.. your post makes me think i should try and borrow a calgarian friends trailer for the car show here this winter though i always wanted to see what kind of impression it would give people if it ever came out of the garage with the hole in the hood, little cragar mags and fast and furious spoiler.

and to answer the other question at this point the 5.7 emblems arn't for sale i might use them on my pontiac like my friend thinks i should but i dunno yet... the pegs are good and i will post pics when my bro gets them to me, if i change my mind i will def let you know
