thats cool.... funny thing, i noticed in your last post you have a bunch of sunbirds too.. i gave up looking for anything as remotely cool as a hood for mine years ago, but due to a line on parts for mine i ended up with 2 monza's and saw on summit that people make cowl hoods for them and thought that was cool. what year ram air firebird hood were you thinking of trying to make the monza hood look like? not sure if i would like that or not but i really like the one you posted isn't it based on a corvette hood?

Ok kool. It will be a few more months before this hood starts to be made as I need to get my vega out of my buddy's barn.( parked it there after I painted it , took to Woodward cruise an burned a cam lobe up 2 years ago.) #$@* happens But yes this hood will be made an test fit on my own car before I even think about making more an selling them. That way there no confusion on what to expect. Doug

Yes that's the 67 corvette stingray style. Not sure how the monza hood will look but maybe like 98 2002 firebird hood.

If I'm not over charging. An thats not what I plan to do. I can make a few here an there as I'm doing this by myself. Hope to make a few in the next year. The biggest thing is shipping cost. I'm looking into having a friend help me an once he knows what to do. It should work good. Thanks Doug

cool, thanks, I cant see giving 300 bucks for a flat stock vega hood and making the scoop I want for my car. so im going to put the scoop on the steel hood I have, use it as a mold to make a glass one.

Doug do you have a local supplier for those supplies, there is no one (industrial) left in the Windsor area. I have been looking around a little bit when I'm in the states but time is always limited. So are patients some @$$ hole is always upset that a Damn Canadian is trying to look in the store windows. Some one (fiberglass supplier) in the Metro Detroit area would be helpful. PM me if you could or share Good either way. Harry

Ya sent you a pm most of my stuff is from the Internet. Just type in fiberglass there is a lot of companies out there to order from. Just beware it looks like it won't cost much and it don't cost a lot lot. But it does add up. Wife keeps asking me when I'm going to sell a hood and give her money back lol.
