After a few seconds of cranking and having the distributor 180 off.....

All's better now, new muffler installed and the lil 283 is ready to scream!

Funny you ask......I called Summit to replace this inferior product and asked about the warranty.....in a serious tone. He had 0 sense of humor and explained to me why they couldn't warranty the muffler. I couldn't help but laugh and felt a little sorry that he couldn't find the humor of the situation. Summit came through, 2 days to my doorstep 1000 miles away!
