Pontiac part numbers...anyone?

Postby cjbiagi » Tue Mar 10, 2015 8:09 pm

I am trying to help a fellow H body member find some parts for his friends 1972 Pontiac Grandville. I am trying to find the part numbers for the two front turnsignal lenses. Does anyone have a GM parts manual that would show these part numbers? I believe they are in group 2.585

Those might be them but looking for something nicer than those, should be a nice amber reflector. I was hoping to find some NOS ones but I can't find the part number for them.

And you better be willing to pay through the nose for those. That guy thinks everything he has is gold.

Yeah, I know Frank. Some of the stuff is nice but as you said his prices are sky high. The ones in the pic really look pitted and faded.

Clyde,

Try this Guy

http://tseafoamo.com/

His name is Ted and he is near you, he mostly deals with 71 Pontiac Full Size Parts, but he has some 72-76 parts also. If he doesn't have them he probably know who does.

My old Pontiac book only goes back to 1974 but I don't think it is the same. It appears to be the side cornering lamp and side marker and reflector are all one piece. am I correct? I can get to an older book later this week I think. Please verify the one piece thing for me. It may make a difference if the car was not equipped with the cornering lamps. You may make sure it has those also.

Clyde I think I miss understood the post. You need the front park turn signal lens not the side unit Correct?

Clyde
Right hand pt# 911702
Left hand pt# 911701

I even found a dealer with a NOS 911702 lamp in Pennsilvania for 50.00 plus shipping. on the GM locator if you are interested.

Let me know
