Does anyone out there know of a company that produces Headers for a Monza V8 '78 with 4speed transmission?

Hard to believe how the price of those headers just keep going up and up. They will be a $1000 before long

Scary; the painted ones are almost 3 times what I paid for a set 25 years ago. The ceramic coated ones are priced like they're gold plated.

And none of'em are worth the powder to blow them to HELL!
The Sanderson trama hasn't ended yet and that little nightmare, or aka, the header installation from hell !! was two years ago!
It would honestly be better and cheaper to bend up your own...atleast they'd fit! To be charging more money for shite really pisses me off, make a set that fits for shit sakes!!! You reading this header manufacturers?? I picked mine up at Summit in MacDonnough Georgia for around 375. After cutting and rewelding them, I called Sanderson and spoke directly with the shop owner who still assured me that they would fit better than the competitors!....what an A-Hole!
Be selective boys an girls, pick the ones that will give you the least headaches, but have that cuttin' torch ready
really glad I didn't waist 600 on the ceramic ones...would've had to cut them as well

The Hooker 2135's may be outrageously priced, but they do fit properly; at least in anything with OEM motor mounts. The other concern with the Hookers is the tiny(1.5") primary tubes. Better than OEM exhaust manifolds, but not really great for big cube motors.

The 2135's do fit pretty well, clearances are tight in a couple areas and engine position will make a difference as that can change slightly from car to car. I do prefer the earlier version that did not have the 3 bolt flange at the end. With only 2 1/2" collectors you are better off cutting off the flange and hooking your exhaust directly to the collector. This aids with ground clearance. Otherwise I have been very happy with the Hookers, I am on my second set. First set was on there for about 25 years, they were still solid and I ended up selling them because I wanted the ceramic coated ones. Those have been on for about 10 years now. I think they work well for a street 350. Larger pipes would mean even tighter clearances so I am happy with them.
