I'll second that! Well lots of nice cars, all pretty nice examples, all varieties except the Astre in attendance (ie Chevy [both] Pontiac{Sunbird}, Olds, and Buick while I was there anyway) Met some more people we have only talked to on the board, and a few we hadn't, and some we hadn't seen in a while! I hope you are proud of your accomplishments, as I think that those in attendance "did us proud" Thank You Harry

Bill and Bill,

Turned out great. Thanks for your effort. Enjoyed Summit on Friday evening, just like a "Home Depot" for car enthusiasts! Sorry I didn't stay for Saturday, glad the weather improved.

Ron,

Nice photo work, thanks for posting.

Me and my cousin had a fantastic time this weekend. Thanks for all the hard work to put on the show! Im not a social person by nature, but i do try to interact. Just not always easy for me. I want to apologize for my dirty appearance. It was 10:30 Friday and thought id do some maintenance on the truck before i left for summit. Was thinking 2 hours tops. Didn't have it done until 12 hours later... Made it to my cousins house at 11:30. He worked on the truck from 12-3:30. I grabbed about 3 hours sleep and we left at 4:30. Blew a tranny line on the way over. Didn't make it to the show until about 1:20. Just had no time to shower... We did take a trip over to summit today (very cool by the way), but never did get that goodie bag.

Captain Glad you made the trip! I am sure every one there (and anyone who has ever travelled for an event) could match the spirit of your trip I have more than a few of these :should be done in an hour" stories that started 15 min's before we were supposed to leave. I call this "Experience" there is no other real substitute. I and the others I talked to were happy to see some younger H-Body enthusiasts getting involved with our cars (H-Bodies), also glad you brought your "stash" of extra parts, the Classic Car hobby is Hard at best, and when you are starting out we all understand that money always has somewhere else to go that is more important than your/our old car. Now throw in the fact that cheap re-pop parts and the depleted numbers of our cars for used parts, are not available/limited for our cars it just "got a whole lot HARDER". Thanx to you for helping keep the interest up and your involvement in a tough hobby, we have all "been there done that" one version or another of the adventure of youth, this reminds me of my misadventures. :D I was very impressed with the quality of the cars that came and I am glad I didn't bring mine, as worst of show is not what I am working towards. Thanx to all for there part in making this happen! Harry
