I am in search of knowledge for Centerline Auto Drag wheels 05 series (Satin finish) for the 4x4" bolt pattern and tire sizes that will work on these rims for my 1975 Chevy Vega Hatchback.
Center Line Wheels #184-055703440
Auto Drag 05 Series Satin Wheel •Size: 15" x 7"
•Bolt Circle: 4 x 4"
•Rear Spacing: 3-5/16"
Hoping this size wheel will not be an issue in the front or rear of my car.
I am also hoping that the tires I want to use: 205 50R 15 would fit these wheels without rubbing issue on the car in the front or the rear.
I also know they do make a 15" x 5.5" wheel in 4x4" bolt pattern too, but am really wanting to use the wider rims I have listed above if they will work for me.
This is the 15" x 5.5" part number...I would prefer not to use unless the 15X7" wheels are going to be a problem in the front:
Center Line Wheels#184-055553440
Auto Drag 05 Series Satin Wheel •Size: 15" x 5-1/2"
•Bolt Circle: 4 x 4"
•Rear Spacing: 3-5/16"
II am up for any suggestions for 15" Center Line Auto Drag wheels 4 lug x 4" bolt patterns and 15" tire combos from people that have used these in the 4x4" bolt pattern wheels before.
My Modified 1975 Vega Hatchback (front clip is converted to 1971-72 style parts) has the stock 4 lug x 4 inch bolt pattern, and I want to confirm if the 15x7 Center Line wheels listed can be used in the front and rear of the car or not.
The idea here, is so I can use the same size rims and same size tires all the way around to be able to rotate them. This car is a driver, and not a racer.
I would prefer to not do the S-10 spindle and axle swaps, I just want some 15" wheels 4x4" Bolt Center that fit right without having to modify my car.
My motor is a Modified Buick even fire V6 ( 275HP) and stock Saginaw 4 speed and stock rear end.
I want to ditch my 205 60R 13 tires and slotted aluminum 4 lug wheels, and upgrade to 15" tires/wheels as 13" tires are just getting to hard to find any more.
My 205 60R13 tires are all new, and they are placed on all 4 corners of the car, but if I wear them out it will be too hard to find new ones in this size.
If I can use the 15x7" Center Lines for all 4 wheels, I want to find out what size tires I can put on these that won't have rubbing issues in the front and rear.
Hoping to keep all 4 tires the same size so rotating won't be an issue.
If you have any advice...other than swapping to S-10 spindles and the S-10 2 WD rear axles please let me know.
Thanks Mike - Vega2008
