I had a '72 with the Buick 215 and a 5-speed. Didn't look like much, but it was AWESOME!
2.56 rear gear which surprisingly allowed me to pull out in 2nd gear very easily.... rarely used 1st.
0.80 overdrive got me 27-28 mpg on the highway.

Ran it for years without a hiccup.
I over revved it showing out by shifting at 7k in the first 3 gears..... knowing I had tired 5500 rpm valve springs.
Collapsed a lifter and bent a push rod... no major damage, so I pieced it back together with a spare push rod and lifter. Ran quite a while longer until I lost oil pressure (think I spun a bearing). It's still sitting on the engine stand..... awaiting rebuild time.
Loved it so much, I have plans to put one in my '73 Wagon project.
