monza sport mirror part #s

Postby TurboKen » Mon May 23, 2016 6:42 pm

does anyone have a book that shows the correct part #s for the driver and pass. side sport mirrors on 75-80 monzas. The base is one #, the mirror is another # and the bullet housing is a third part #. The reason I ask is I've purchased two sets of mirrors that were sold as Monza and are incorrect. After taking them apart the part #s confirmed it. They should be level on the top, not sloping downward. This info would be a good sticky and help everybody who wants to buy the correct Monza mirrors and not Camaro or buick or whatever, btw I need a dr side sport mirror :) thanks a lot

This ones claims to be NOS Drivers side:

Don't know if that is helpful or not.

I've got a pair pulled from a '77 Monza. I'll check a little later. They are also up for grabs.

that nos one is the right # but for some reason it looks like the reproduction ones they are selling now. Thanks Nutt, btw the part #s from the mirror I purchased are the base is 62041, the mirror is 9852546 and 52823, and the bullet housing is 52821, the mirror # came up as a 11/1970 part, that's all I could find out. To add to the confusion, I also saw somewhere 3 mounting gaskets with different angles, from flat to very angled, maybe that is what is needed. It would fix the problem
