Postby beakerztoyz » Wed Jun 15, 2016 12:12 am

I'm probably out of line here, but I notice no post's anywhere else so I'll put it here, There's a thread in the off topic (why I have no idea) area that a guy in Russia started about restoring his skyhawk. he needs a passenger side fender for it. If ya got a fender ya wanna sell hop on over to that thread and help the dude out.....

Breakerztoyz,

If people will check the For Sale area, under Craigslist/eBay listings you will see that Richard (John and Richard of EagleFish) have seven (7) Monza/Skyhawk/Starfire/Sunbird and Vega/Astre for sale. There is even a Pair of fenders for a CV.

Alexey from Russia contacted found a link for Richard's fenders that led him to H-Body,org and found our adin the For Sale Section. We have sold him a fender and are in the process of packaging it for shipment to Alexey.

Richard has a number of body parts available including some 1/4 panels (used),hatches, hoods, etc.

Follow up

We sold a beautiful '78 Skyhawk fender to Alexey in Moscow, Russia Federation for his very nice '78 Skyhawk. We mailed it USPS Priorty Express mail and it arrived at his apartment 7 days. It was actually delivered on a Sunday.

Thanks Alex. Glad we could help a new H-Body member.

Now we have someone in Tahiti that needs 2 fenders for his Skyhawk.

Yes, we still have fenders, hoods, hatches, doors and many other parts for sale. Send us your need and we will check if we have the part or parts you need.

Hello John, Richard. First off i want to thank you for all you do at the club and also express my sympathy that you are at the point of needing to sell your collection .. I have seen the pictures and I must say "most impressive indeed !"

Secondly if you can, kindly see if you have extras of the chrome strips that run across the top of the rear bumper on my '75 Skyhawk HB and the corner pieces at either end also. I'm also looking for a front hood latch mechanism for an '80 Monza Spyder.

Many thanks in advance
and good luck with your sale,
Todd Cooper :canada:

Hi John & Richard,

Do you happen to have a drivers side turn light assembly with a clear lens ?
a fuel sending unit ?
sun visor brackets ? (the oval things)
door gaskets (the ones that go on the body, not the door itself) ?

for a '75 Monza

thanks in advance,
Mike

Thanks Harry, these look great ! I hope he still makes them. You are the first that knows that somebody makes them. Hmm, not even Clyde knows, i guess. Wouldn't it be good to make those better known here in the forum ?

That is where I found out about them. This is a soap opera of knowledge, if you miss one episode you will be lost for months! Harry

UPDATE

We sold the 2 fenders to Larry Lot in Tahiti (in the middle of the Pacific!) for his Starfire. He made it easy, though. He came to the US west coast. So, we only had to ship them to SO CAL. But, we had to wrap and box them so he could ship them by boat to Tahiti! They are in route, via Greyhound Busfreighter as I write.
