7.5 possi

Postby kenbober » Sat Jun 25, 2016 11:09 am

Hi there

I have a Monza rearend that I want to get the brackets off for a 9" swap into my Sunbird. The rear end has a posi in it and was looking for advice if it is worth it to take out and put on E-Bay ? Is anyone still looking for these anymore? If so what would be a fair price?

I am sure someone will buy it. Is the rear from a 76 and up with the larger rear brakes. If so what do you want for the backing plates?

I would try Jim at JDRace in Ohio. He deals in GM rear ends and is very fair with prices. A 7.5 posi. has some value, lower the gear ratio probably the better. A 3.43 or a 3.73 is in demand. Jim is on the board here. The only place to go for Monza rear ends! :D

I am looking for one type that isn't in demand. If it is a 2 series, let me know.

Thanks,
Ken

If so, I would like to buy the carrier.

Let us know the gear ratio. Interested in the posi unit and tag. How much.

We won't need the posi as we found one local. So we're out.

Thanks,
