Dave's Vega Village

Postby MonzaMikeV8 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 1:25 pm

Hi,

can you guys help me a little with Dave's Vega Village ? I was trying to call him several times but i only heard his answering machine. Maybe i called at the wrong times as i called from europe, or he is too busy. I didn't leave a message as i didn't want him to call me back because this could get really expensive. Does anyone have the most recent email address ? I'm trying to get one or two pairs of his reproduction sun visor bases (if he still makes them). I would also like to know what else he has to offer ? I googled a little and only found a pricelist from 1998. Is there a more recent list of parts and stuff that he has to offer ? The old price list does also say something about wheather stripping for a Monza. I wonder if he has the door wheather stripping that goes on the body. I'm not sure about the payment either. He accepts money order, does that mean he accepts western union ?

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me !

Thanks,
Mike

Great, thanks! I'll shoot him a mail!

@monzaaddict: regarding the link you provided- Do you have any idea what the C/LP 40-K (door side seal) is used for ? I'm not sure. Does it go onto the door itself or is it the one for the body side? AFAIK there are no reproduction wheather strippings for the body side...

Monza Mike, Dave's time zone is listed as -7 from Greenwich Mean time and you are listed as +2 so if your not calling in the middle of the night[ish +/-] it is for him just as a reminder. 2AM for you is 5PM for him http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/canada/vancouver And those two upper rain stops are impossible to find [for now anyways] you will have to locate a used pair you can live with or make yours as pretty as you can. We are all there and hoping that Clyde can pull some rubber[over steel] from his hat. He has been the best at finding parts that will get the job done for us for quite some time now! Harry

I have not been able to find a good suitable replacement for the roof rail seal. I will continue to look....
