bought some wheels :)

some may have seen this on Monza Madness but I thought I'd share it here too. A couple weeks or so ago I saw some centerline auto drag wheels advertised on a hi-po parts selling group I have on my FB. The group advertises stuff from 3 different provinces but the wheels were actually right in the town I live in, I was mighty tempted by them because the seller said they were 15 inch wheels with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern and of course I havn't done any s10 conversion stuff on my h bodies yet. the only downside for me was the guy wanted $350 (canadian ) for them and they were only 3.5 inches wide. I did some research and found that I could in fact buy tires for them and that they would in fact work ok on the street and in the end offered the seller $250 for them thinking that probably wouldn't be enough.

I ended up with 2 beautiful centerline auto drag wheels that the seller had only ever had tires on to roll a street rod project around on, he said they never actually had any street time at all on them they look brand new and are actually the right bolt pattern for the car :D

Of course there is a downside to this.. I'm pretty sure these new rims would look stupid on the back... and wouldn't work well on the front with the current 13 inch rims and tires on the back............. so I think this will lead me to spending more money but you guys gotta know how it is I just couldn't resist buying them I mean hell I've never even seen a real 4on 4 15 inch rim before I found these ones :)
