MONZA HAS A NEW ROOMMATE

Postby cjbiagi » Thu Oct 20, 2016 3:05 pm

Well after a lot of thought I finally decided to trade in my 2003 Cavalier on something a little more sportier. So, now my Monza has a new roommate in the garage. My 2005 Impala has now been relegated to the driveway.

Holy Camaro SS Batman! That's awesome, Clyde! So how long before you fall in love with that new 455hp LT1 and want to install one into your Monza?

Wow! Great choice Clyde. With the demise of local manufacture of Holden here in Australia next year, there is talk of us getting either the Camaro or the Vette as our GM RWD platform. Unfortunately I don't think I will ever see the day that Chevrolet will engineer a car for the right hand drive market.

It is definitely a fun car and I can easily get used to the 455hp in it. :D As far as the Monza goes, no I will stick with the traditional smallblock. There are so many buttons and features on this car I don't know if I will ever get (or want to get) to know all of them. It's certainly fun to drive but there is also a lot to be said about a more basic car like out H bodies. I enjoy driving them both even though they are way different from each other.

It's a automatic, I thought about a stick but since I already have that in the Monza and there is always a possibility that someone else may need to drive it ( in an emergency) I decided on the automatic.

Nice Clyde, but borrowing from the Buick ads, "It doesn't look like an h-body"!

Dick That is WAYYYYYYY too Funny! and Clyde enjoy! And you will need some bricks and mortar to get that other car inside I actually like the looks of the Impala only it needs a V8, and I am told they built it, but I ain't seen one yet! Harry

That's quite a step up from a Cavalier!

Now you have something you can do burnouts with and don't have to worry about cleaning up the rubber on the quarters! :th:
