Fire Extinguisher location

Bought a 3-4 lb extingusher and not sure where to mount the bracket. If you have one, where is it mounted?

Thanks,

Larry did you buy this because it is a good idea, or for racing? If you are doing this for the track and it is mandated, then you need to get real "Intimate" with the "Book" [rule book] the rules may have very different idea's from what we think. If you have the console your options thin out real fast! On the hump just behind the front seats, or on the tunnel in front of the passenger side seat are all that come to my mind. I am watching for better idea's than mine. Harry

as I have a console, mine is mounted ON the tunnel, right behind the console, easily accessible.

doesn't interfere with rear seating, ( like someone could fit back there)

My Vega isn't running yet, but I try to keep it accessible from drivers door, on the roll bar if so equipped. One car I did mount in the driver side footwell, just in front of the seat. Easy, but it did get kicked.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ended up on the roll bar behind the driver's seat. Next time will go a little shorter so it will fit behind the console.
