Stock V6 exhaust manifolds

Postby monzacoupe » Mon Nov 07, 2016 9:22 pm

Apart from hoarding them, would there be any reason for me to keep my old manifolds? Cleaning the garage prior to bodywork tear-down and need the space. My headers are working great now.

Any advice appreciated

Rick,

The only advantage the 79 and later Buick exhaust manifolds have is they are the tall port style, they flow much better than the 78 and earlier versions, and the drivers side is H-body specific. They are the best H-body stock manifolds for an Hbody, you may be able to sell them for more than the price of scrap

When they changed exhaust manifolds, did the Y pipe change? will a 1980 Y pipe work on a 77?

does it appear that the outlets on the manifolds remained the same?
