1977 V8 air/clock model dash decal

Postby jakewegner » Tue Nov 29, 2016 1:50 pm

I checked with Phoenix Graphics and they do not offer this, but I am looking for a decal to be made like the one they put in the 1977 Monza Spyder with the V8 and AC/clock. It ran from right to left along the dash. Anyone have any suggestions on who I could turn to, to custom make one? Also, does anyone have the dimensions? Thanks!

Someone had those made years ago, and I've got 2 or 3 of them. Marco had them for sale but I met the guy who actually made them at Bryan McCready's MonzaQueue a couple years ago and forget his name. He still had a couple for sale that he brought to the get-together. Anyone remember? (Btw, you ARE talking about the gold Spyder decal on the dash plate above the glove box, right? Your description was confusing)

By the way, I think those decals only worked on non-clock, non-AC cars if I recall, due to their length. (The clock I'm referring to is the RPO N98 dash clock above the glove box) Does anyone remember if the non-AC part is correct?

Ken I think that was Dave that made those up but I am not certain on that. Here is his "Bio" page: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=56. So Jake you can try him with a PM. He is still involved with his car and is Good Friends with Bryan [and Michele] McCready of The Monza'Que fame. Harry

It was Cliff Sternberg who had them made years ago. I think he is long out of them and he is not online here. Marco has been in contact with him thru facebook about these decals and it looks like he may try to reissue them. just a wait and see.

That's right! It was Cliff! I think I actually bought out his remaining supply at the Monzaqueue 2 years ago. Hope he makes more!
