"Per´s Raceway" celebrating 20 years

Postby tinsfci » Fri Dec 30, 2016 9:00 am

On December 6 1996 I started my webpage "Per´s Raceway". Geeee what time goes by...!

In other words, I´m celebrating a 20 years anniversary :D

In 1996 there wasn´t much H-body related pages on the Internet. Mike Van Auken had his registry though, which I was a member of. I remember the joy when his snail-mails arrived here in Sweden :)

I know some of you here was around too. It would be fun to hear how many of you that remember my page!

The original URL is gone but I have restored it here:

I have kept the look of it quite "stock", like it was back in 1996

Happy New Year!

/Per

Hi Per! I remember visiting your site a few years ago [in the last 5 +/-] I found it in the links page from either here H-Body.Org, Monza Homesteaders, V8Monza or possibly even Marco's Monza Bud's site further back, I just don't remember, I was reading lots of things back then! I found your site interesting especially showing us the "European Race Theatre" at the time! Do you plan to restart/keep it going in one form or another in the future? Harry

Thanks for your comments :)

20 years.... How long has h-body.org existed? Since 2001? I guess thats a question for Dennis.

Actually, I´m planning to start a Swedish H-body registry. NOT to compete with this fantastic site of course, only as a registry to gather all H-body owners in Sweden. I have quite a lot of info about H-bodies, at least 2nd gen´s in Sweden that still are registered. I would guess there is about 150 vehichles.

Here´s a picture from 2007 from my "old" site when me and a friend attended "Heron Hillclimb", outside Stockholm

Time goes way toooooo fast. I wonder how many H's are in Sweden?

I have a buddy in Sweden. He was a foreign exchange student in our senior year of high school. Great guy.
