seat rebuild

Postby dindin » Thu Feb 23, 2017 11:40 am

Gonna try my hand at rebuilding seats and recovering with new material I bought..

Some pictures of what I have so far, any tips, tricks, insulting comments are most welcome and appreciated.

I also painted the frames and will post when I go into the adding the seat cover and foam part.

You are going a lot deeper than I ever have, all I have done besides recovering and replacing the foam is adding a drivers side recline, and cleaning and painting the seat rails. So no tips,

But what you have done so far looks great!

I did not use Camaro covers, at the time I did not know they fit so I sent my old covers out and had new covers made for front and back..
Anyway the company I used now has them available for a 75 vega front and rear..I did not install them yet but they look very nice.

Time to step it up harry
