Gonna try my hand at rebuilding seats and recovering with new material I bought..

Some pictures of what I have so far, any tips, tricks, insulting comments are most welcome and appreciated.

I also painted the frames and will post when I go into the adding the seat cover and foam part.

You are going a lot deeper than I ever have, all I have done besides recovering and replacing the foam is adding a drivers side recline, and cleaning and painting the seat rails. So no tips,

But what you have done so far looks great!

I did not use Camaro covers, at the time I did not know they fit so I sent my old covers out and had new covers made for front and back..
Anyway the company I used now has them available for a 75 vega front and rear..I did not install them yet but they look very nice. http://www.lebaronbonney.com/

Time to step it up harry

Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing as I will be doing this sometime this year. I am especially wanting to know what you use and how you replace those wires at the bottom that are almost always rusted through or broken.

Thanks guys, I ordered the springs from ebay for a camaro its got an extra row wider but it works out very good, I also glued a piece of burlap to the bottom of the cushion where it contacts the wires so they don't cut into the foam..

Here is link to ebay for wire at not bad price, some site were selling for stupid expensive..

https://www.ebay.com/itm/CAMARO-FIREBIR ... 1781753867

I also watched video from legendary on covering them..Just be sure to mark right and left frames and take pictures to make it easier..I mixed things up and had to figure it out..

I used my original foam, steam will puff them out again,

Nice to see such nice detail work. We need to have more high end quality H bodies to make a statement.

The original color was black vinyl, Its just a color I picked from the swatches they sent me..They do have my old covers for patterns so if anyone needs seats done they can do whatever material and color you want, Also they have back seat pattern for 75 hatchback.

Thanks for compliments...
