Windshield size?

Postby rpoz-29 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 8:10 am

In my ongoing move to a smaller home, I have been stumbling across more Vega parts. I found a pair of windshields yesterday, but thought one was from a notchback. Upon closer examination, they're the same size. It measures about 22.75 inches from top to bottom in the center of the glass. My hatchback still has the trim on it, but that "seems" to be very close to the correct size. Am I correct? I also unearthed a notchback rear glass and quarter windows, I'll give away if someone can come get them. I'm just south of Richmond, VA.

rpoz, You looking to get rid of the windshields and the rear quarter glass too? I'd be interested in the windshield. I'm in MD but my brother works in Richmond. He lives nears Gordonsville so picking them up wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks

Honestly, I hadn't thought about it. My biggest concern is whether or not they are for a hatch, but I'm pretty sure they are. The quarter glass is for a notch, as is the rear glass. I would consider selling one of them provided we're sure of what they fit.

wagon/notchback windshield is 24 1/8" in the center, so yes, they are for a hatchback vega

Thanks, Megavega. I had a notchback windshield stored in the attic of my garage for years, and broke it repairing the roof, so I didn't have anything to measure. I still have a pair of notchback quarter windows and a rear glass if anyone wants to come get them.
