Sunbird Coupe Parts Car

Postby Monzamaddogger » Sun Mar 26, 2017 8:59 am

A friend of mine saved a Sunbird from the crusher last weekend knowing I was looking for a few parts for mine. The guy he bought it from got it for the 4 speed trans for his Camaro. My friend says the car is solid but badly dented (and missing the trans). He said the 2.5 started right up after sitting since '89. I'm going to see what it has for good parts this afternoon.

Things that I didn't grab that will be crushed wih the car are very nice dark blue interior plastic panels, right inner door panel, right '80 grill, hood, all glass and a couple steel rally wheels...

Does this car also have a blue plastic dash in good condition?

Also, Alex from Russia was looking for some parts like the hood release cable that might still be there...

The dash pad is in good shape as is the rest of it with wood grain.

Adam, I sent you a PM.

After reading back through the original posts, I wasn't sure if you were offering to pull parts. I live pretty far away from Maine (although I visited Damariscotta once!) so I'd be forced to go the shipping route, not sure if you wanted to get into all that. If not, just let me know.

Thanks-
Terry

I will take some pics when I get back to my friends where the car is. Yes I will pull any salvageable parts if anyone needs something.
