All,

I'm trying to understand how many might attend this event (which is in place of the Salem, OH meet). Mark Campbell and I are planning on attending with our cars. How many others are making the trip?

I have been to several Carlisle meets in the past (usually in April for the swap meet) and they have been really great events.

Hope participants can let us know if they are attending.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill. Actually, Salem will be June 9-11. Then Carlisle 2 weeks later. I plan on going to both. :th: :D

I think there are going to be a lot of H-Bodies at Carlisle because the Cosworth Vegas are having their round-up there. Also, it is the 40th anniversary of the Mirage so there will hopefully be SEVERAL Mirages there. 8)

Scroll about half way down the page.

Our Oldsmobile club has attended for the last 4-5 yrs but we pulled out this year when they abandoned the other GM makes. It's a Chevy, Mopar, Ford world these days - others need not apply...

I wonder why it changed, sponsorship I would guess.
Of course the weekend isn’t limited to bow-tie branded cars and trucks either. The Chevrolet Nationals also encourage the inclusion of any and all makes and models produced by General Motors. Throughout our history, Carlisle Events has enjoyed very strong support from Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Cadillac fans, so we certainly want to remain a prime location for your club meets, your show cars and…you! This new approach will produce a bigger and better showfield and vendor base for all of our participants to enjoy, regardless of which type of GM they love the most.

They changed the name to Chevrolet Nationals but ALL GM brands are welcome.

We are trying to get as many to Salem and/or Carlisle as we can. There are two flyers I made for the events.
