Interesting but don't know why

Postby Bullet » Sat Apr 22, 2017 10:00 am

I was just on evilbay looking for parts and I ran across an ad for headers, I noticed it said 90 sets sold. That's a lot of V8 H-bodies I thought that are either existing V8 cars needing an upgrade or new conversions. I wonder where they all are. Sure don't see ANY around my area, V8, 4 cyl, running or not. Just thought it was curious and might stir a conversation.

Hmm, I noticed the same thing, I never ever see any on the road..it would be interesting to see how many people drive them verses just having them being worked on for years and years in a garage..I just can't find the time or motivation lately to work on mine. :(

I agree with both of you! Especially the motivation part! :( :x  I have also found with many online ad's that in this example 90 sets is 90 sets of headers not all H-Body. If you can figure out how to check his recent sales and also his store that may shed some light on that "Very High" number as H-Bodies go! Harry

I hadn't considered it being 90 sets of headers in general. I suppose that makes more sense. As for motivation, I've got plenty of that, time is another thing altogether. I've almost finished my last remodeling job for a while and made it clear to my much better half that the next project has 4 wheels. Of course that will come after general maintenance on everything I own which is quite a few, and a couple repairs. Geesh, thanks guys, now I'm depressed.... I was thinking I could get back on my Monza in a couple weeks...... :(
