Posted: Sat May 13, 2017 1:16 pmheader mufflers are probably the cheapest and work pretty well with Hooker headers. They come in glass pack and turbo style, easy to install yourself. $50 to $75 glass packs have a louder sharper tone.
There is a new "collector muffler" that looks like a large turndown from Car Chemistry $100+. I have not used these so I can not review them.
Next level is shorty duals where it ends just in front of the rear axle with or without turn downs.
Over the axle tailpipes will add parts and labor, unless you weld the price depends on the muffler shop.
