I received a question from a guy asking if I knew how the rear hatch and side window louvers are installed. These are aftermarket obviously, I never dealt with these. Can anyone add some insight as to how these accessory louvers get attached?

The plastic side window louvers just snap in under the moldings. The aluminum rear louvers have aluminum strips that slide under the moldings and adhere to the glass with double sided tape. The louver then attaches to the tabs. When installed the louvers can be released at the lower corners via key locks or removal of screws. The louver than pivots on the top mounts and can be lifted to clean the glass.
