I thought i should say hello as I just signed up. I briefly owned a 1975 V8 4spd monza about 30 yrs ago. I regreted selling it and always wanted a do over.
I recently came across an IMSA style body kit for sale online in my town (northwestern canada), after contacting the fella he said he also had an unadvertised
monza for sale as well. After some time arranging a meet, I went over to see the car, its a '79 Spyder V8 4spd originally 305 with a saginaw, black with a white/black
interior. It has been upgraded with 5 bolt disc front and S10 5 bolt axles, also a muncie M20 & a 4 bolt 350, both of which are freshly rebuilt.
The body is very straight and rust free, (he told me its nearly always been stored under cover or indoors) We have struck a deal and it includes the unused body kit
and many spare parts.Image Image Image

Welcome, looks like a great base to start with. I had an IMSA bodied Monza a number of years and regret often of getting rid of it.
