On the cowl area or firewall with the hood open. ( retangular metal tag with. 2 rivets) Looks to be a regular Monza to me, cowl tag would have a Z01 or a Z02 if it had Spyder equipment or appearance packages.

Thanks for reply. What would regular monza and spyder monza be worth in such condition?

$330 for parts car - $9990 for a rare restored car. Good driver $3300. Spyder is about $200-400 more in driver and restored categories. Only 9478 V8 Monza's built in 1978.

Monza S Hatchback( Vega body/Monza front end) 2326 made and Monza Estate (woodgrain sides) wagon (Vega body/Monza front end) 2478 made are the rarest models made in 1978 and the last year for both.

Tsev I see some Spyder items like all of the emblems for the Spyder are there, but I can't remember if the Spyder had the displacement emblems [that one does and mine isn't here for me to check) or not some later ones they were omitted IIRC. That car has the "chrome" head light, tail light, and window ["Chrome" and black] trim. So I would guess that someone added the emblems to a regular quad head light Monza. But as pointed out above trim tag tells most. That car is almost 40 years old so many things could have been changed, and it looks like it is in decent enough shape and would be worth a short [or maybe long one if you really want a Monza (or any H-Body) we all do  ] drive for a "look see" Were is that car Russia or Europe? That car has spent time in doors, dash pad is 8.5 or better the "Grill" opening trim is still there, that paint wasn't offered on a Spyder(?) to the best of my knowledge and it looks like original paint as best I can tell on a picture from a couple of thousand miles away. Body tag .....

St 78 (1978) 1hro7 (Monza 4 quad headlight Hatch) 050360. ( sequence number)

TR 62j (tan cloth deluxe interior) a51 ( bucket seats) 67 l and 67 u (Saffron paint)

09D ( September 4th week build). 62x (tan colored accents interior) 24-0370( 24th day of production/ scheduled number)

104304 ( 104304th car built that model year at the plant)

Other tag looks like a Switzerland import tag.

If you find the build sheet , it would be helpful.

Front seat backs or under them, behind the door panels, under the carpet, under the back seat or on top of the gas tank.

Those are the common places, could be anywhere or none at all as most hit the garbage can back in the "hippie" assembler days :slap:

As I just read on Wikipedia a Spyder package could also include large front and rear sway bars, black wall tires, emblems,2 spoke steering wheel, console, chrome wheel mouldings, wood grain dash with special instrumentation, 2 outlet muffler.

Looks if it is correct ,you have a rare Monza Spyder afterall minus the decals.! :th:

Marco could confirm this if its correct.

That's nice, I think it's going to look great when it's all restored Tino.
